23, Koragaha Ulpatha Ranakeliya Tissamaharama, Sri Lanka
Once you pass the Tissamaharama town, head towards Kirinde, where you will reach a Y junction.
Here, take a right in the direction of Kirinde, and you will soon see a large lake named Yoda Wewa to your left. Past the lake, to your left, will be a signpost that reads ‘Koragaha Lodge’.
Turn here, and about 2km down this carpeted road to your left will be the Uddakandara temple, which will be hard to miss. Look out for a boat made of cement, which is part of a depiction of a historical figure named Vihara Maha Devi landing on the southern shores of the island.
About a kilometre past the temple you will find a ‘Palu’ tree cutting into the road, to your left. Opposite this, you will find a little shop named ‘Yapa Aiyage Kadey’ (Yapa’s shop). If you’re unable to locate it, just ask anyone on the road. They should be able to direct you to the shop.
Adjoining the shop is a gravel road. The Koragaha Lodge is down this road on your right. Lookout for the property’s signpost at this turnoff.
